Catherine Guevarra-Goldsack

Dental Hygienist
GDC No. 4603
Cathy received her Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1994 from Guy's Hospital, London. The first 12 years of her career were spent working for the American Navy in R.A.F. West Ruislip, Middlesex. She led the annual Children's Dental Health Month in the elementary school, giving lessons on prevention to children up to 13 years old. Most of her time, however, was spent maintaining the good oral health of the American military and their families.
Her true passion is dealing with gum disease. She continuously updates her knowledge on how to prevent and treat gum disease, recently completing the Advanced Management of Periodontal Diseases at the King's College, London.
Cathy is also a member of BSDHT (British Society of Dental Hygienist and Therapists) and BSP (British Society of Periodontology.)
Outside work, Cathy loves going for long walks, gardening, theatre and listening to her eclectic playlist.
Cathy is happy to practice under the Open Access regulations, where patients can make direct referrals to the practice for their hygiene related needs and periodontal maintenance. Patients are always reminded that they need to see their general dental practitioners for their dental assessments for dental and oral screening purposes.
